Located in Greenwich Village, NYC, our goal is to make our menu a doorway for your new adventures, to a selective variety of modern traditional Vietnamese cuisine.

The most well-known and famous Vietnamese meal is “Phở,” which means “noodle soup”.  There are many variations of phở across the world but we at PHOBAR pride ourselves in the slow simmer broth with traditional spices, just like how we have it at home.

We also offer other appetizing dishes such as cơm (rice) and bún (rice vermicelli), topped with savory proteins over a bed of refreshing salad.  Many Vietnamese food is accompanied with a delectable sauce “Nước mắm,” which is made by fermenting a combination of fishes and salt.  Nước mắm is used like soy sauce at the table or in the kitchen, as a flavor to taste.  A lot of our appetizers features a nước chắm, which is a mixed fish sauce that is savory, lightly sweet and salty tasting, to please and delight all taste buds. Our variety of appetizers would bring Vietnam street food to your table in style.  Come and enjoy our menu that showcase traditional Vietnamese cuisine with a modern interpretation.
